GameNameKit Free · No sign-up · Runs in your browser

About this site

GameNameKit is a small, single-purpose tool. It exists to solve one problem: you need a pile of game title ideas, right now, without opening an account or paying for anything.

Who runs it

This site is run by the GameNameKit project, a one-person effort. We publish under the site name rather than a personal name, so anything you read here stands on the tool itself rather than on who wrote it.

There is no company behind it, no team, and no investors to satisfy. That is deliberate: it keeps the incentive simple, which is to make the generator good enough that you bookmark it.

What it does

The generator combines words from a built-in word bank using a fixed set of name patterns, and hands you a batch of candidates. You can steer it by genre, tone, starting letter, keyword, and name length.

Everything runs inside your browser. There is no server doing the work, no API key, and no queue. Press the button and the result is already there.

What it deliberately does not do

  • No accounts. We do not want your email address, and there is nothing to log into.
  • No availability checks. No website can tell you whether a title is free across every storefront and trademark register. Anyone who claims otherwise is guessing.
  • No saving. Close the tab and the batch is gone. That is a design choice, not a missing feature.

How it stays free

The site is free to use and will stay free. To cover the cost of the domain and hosting, we intend to display third-party advertising on some pages in the future. If and when that happens, it will be disclosed on the privacy policy page, and it will not change how the generator works.
